Algunas cosas regencia / Some regency things

Ultimamente he tenido la oportunidad de asistir a dos recreaciones militares de la Guerra de Independencia Española: los Sitios de Astorga y la Batalla de los Arapiles. Para tales eventos mi madre se hizo un atuendo regencia y para mí, que utilizé las mismas ropas que habá llevado a Bath, me hizo un bonete.

Lately we have had the chance to attend two military reenactments of the Spanish Independence war. For these events my mother made herself a regency outfit, and for me, that wore the same dresses I used in Bath, she made me a bonnet.

La historia de un traje / A dress story

En este post os mostré algunas fotos de mi vestido de forma natural. Pero no os conté nada acerca de el por eso lo hago ahora pues su historia es interesante. No fue hecho ex novo sino que partimos de un traje que se habia confeccionado mi madre tiempo atrás por eso en esta ocasión los bordados que veis en el vestido, hechos a mano, son obre suya.

On this post I showed you some photos of my natural form dress. But I didn't tell you anything about it so I do it now becuase I think it has an interesting story. It was madefrom a suit that my mother had made many years ago so the embroidery on it, made by hand, was her doing.

 Este es el primer diseño del vestido, llevado por mi madre al final de la década de 1970. Esta basado en un modelo de la revista burda.

This is the first form os the dress worn by my mun in the late 1970s. It was based on a model on "Burda" magazine.

Después se transformó en este diseño en 1995 utilizando la falda para transformar la chaqueta en una talla más amplia.
Then it turns to this design in 1995 using the skirt to make the jacket a size larger
  
Más tarde hubo ub priycto de transformarlo en un abrigo pero no llego a terminarse y desgraciadamente no tengo fotos de el.
Later, there was the project to make a coat with it but it wasn't finished and unfortunately I don't have photo of that. 

Finalmente se convirtió en mi vestido de forma natural que espero que sea su última transformación.
Finally it becomes my natural form dress which I hope to be its last shape.
