The "Pemberley" Regency shoes are closely based on extant footwear from the 1790s through 1810.  The smooth, dyable, hand-sewn leather upper is designed to be lovely enough formal occasions, and durable enough for walking in the countryside.  Particular attention was paid to the point of the toe, as well as the other hallmarks of Regency historical footwear, with the main goals being both historical accuracy and all-day comfort

Continuo con otro post sobre ropa interior. Cuando hace unos meses os mostre mi corsé de 1825 aún no tenía hecho el resto de la ropa interior. Pues bien, aquí os traigo fotos de toda la ropa interior que llevé al Festival Jane Austen de Bath.

Continuing with another post about underwear. When I showed you a few months ago my 1825 corset I had not yet done the rest of the underwear. Well, here I bring you pictures of all the underwear I wore at Jane Austen Festival in Bath.

Hoy voy a mostraros la ropa interior de mi madre. El corsé esta inspirado en este del libro de corsés de Jill Salen. La crinolina al contrario que la mía no es de jaula y la enagua es de volantes.

Today I'm going to show you the underwear of my mother's crinoline dress. The corset it's inspired on this from the book about corsets by Jill Salen.

La camisa sigue uno de los modelos típicos de la época y está bordado a mano por mí. Mi corsé de 1869 ya lo conoceis:
The chemise is based on one of the most popular example of this period and it was  hand embroidered by myself. You've already met my 1869 corset.

La crinolina se inspira en una del museo de Londres. Las ligas que llevo son iguales que estas pero en color rosa.
The crinoline is inspired on one in London Museum. The garters I was wearing on the photo are the same than these ones but in pink.

Finalmente la enagua, decorada con numerosos volantes.
Finally the petticoat decorated with numerous ruffles.

9ª Reunión de Augusta

 El fin de semana pasado tuvo lugar la novena reunión de la Sociedad Victoriana Augusta. Fue un evento incleíble y la compañía insuperable. La moda elegida para esta reunión fue la de forma natural.

Last weekend my mum and I attended to the 9th event of SVA. It was such a great event having dinner at Westing Palace and visiting the botanical garden. We worn natural form dresses.
